About KingJamess
KingJamess, born and raised in Southen California but deeply rooted out of Oklahoma City. The fifth of six kids. KingJamess stepped on the music scene in the early 2000s! Inspired by Marcus L. King Sr. (Father) and Kenya King (Sister) with their success as songwriters. Like his Grandmother used to say, "apples don't fall far from the tree," and he is proof of that statement with hits like Hole-up, Cash Flow, and No Gravity. Most downloaded songs are off the album Born a King and the hit single "Out Da Way" an emotional track of psychological warfare of fighting off demons. But it wasn't until the loss of a brother, due to a car wreck which after rolling several times ejected his brother-in-law and himself from the car. His sister, brother-in-law, and he, himself, survived.
After a year of recovery, learning to walk and talk again was when the thought of being an M.C began. After returning from Western Oklahoma State on an athletic scholarship is when he decided to be an M.C. Over the next 10 years, he would reinvent himself to become one of Southern Cal's hottest rappers and songwriters. Now known throughout SoCal, KingJamess has put his stain on the game. Being true to himself and honest to others is what created the lane that KingJamess rides in right now.
